Quick answers to common questions about Subscribely
Getting Started
Download the Subscribely app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Open the app and tap "Sign Up". Enter your email address and create a secure password. Verify your email by clicking the link we send you. That's it! You can now start tracking your subscriptions.
On the Home screen, tap the "+" button. Start typing the name of your subscription (e.g., "Netflix"). We'll auto-suggest popular services and fetch their logos. Enter the billing amount, select the frequency (monthly or yearly), set the renewal date, choose a category, and tap "Save". Your subscription is now tracked!
When adding or editing a subscription, toggle on "Renewal Reminders". The app will send you a notification 24 hours before the subscription renews. Make sure you've allowed notifications for Subscribely in your device settings (Settings → Notifications → Subscribely → Allow Notifications).
Subscription Management
To edit: Tap on any subscription card from the Home screen. Make your changes and tap "Save".
To delete: Swipe left on the subscription card and tap "Delete", or tap the subscription, then tap the trash icon in the top right.

Premium Subscription
Open the app and go to Settings → Upgrade to Premium. Choose between Monthly ($4.99/month) or Annual ($39/year). Enter your payment information and confirm. You'll have immediate access to unlimited subscription tracking.

Absolutely! All payments are processed through Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified (the highest level of payment security). Your credit card information is never stored on our servers. All transactions are encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL.
Features & Analytics
Tap the "Stats" tab at the bottom of the app. You'll see your total monthly spending, yearly cost projection, category breakdown with percentages, upcoming renewals timeline, and smart insights about your subscriptions.
Yes! Go to Settings → Export Data → Export to CSV. This creates a spreadsheet file with all your subscriptions that you can open in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet app. Perfect for backups or further analysis.
For yearly subscriptions, we divide the annual cost by 12 to show you the equivalent monthly cost. This helps you compare all subscriptions on the same basis. For example, if you pay $120/year for a service, we'll show it as $10/month in your total monthly spending.
Account & Security
Go to Settings → Account → Change Password. Enter your current password, then your new password twice to confirm. Make sure to use a strong, unique password for security.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password". Enter your email address and we'll send you a password reset link. Click the link in the email and follow the instructions to create a new password.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirm deletion by entering your password. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Make sure to export your data first if you want to keep a copy. This action cannot be undone.
Troubleshooting
First, check your internet connection. Then, try pulling down on the Home screen to manually refresh. Make sure you're logged into the same account on all devices. If the problem persists, try logging out and back in. Still having issues? Contact us at support@subscribely.app.
Check these settings: 1) Make sure "Renewal Reminders" is enabled for that subscription. 2) Check your device's notification settings for Subscribely (Settings → Notifications → Subscribely). 3) Ensure Do Not Disturb isn't blocking notifications. 4) Verify the renewal date is set correctly for the subscription.
Try these steps: 1) Force close the app and reopen it. 2) Restart your device. 3) Check for app updates in the App Store/Google Play. 4) Clear the app cache (Settings → Clear Cache). 5) If problems persist, uninstall and reinstall the app (your data is safe in the cloud).
